We’ll discuss your symptoms, timelines, and service-related exposures to determine whether a Nexus letter is appropriate and how strong your case may be. You’ll receive expert insight into your options and next steps.

Consultation and Records Review

Nexus Letters (Independent Medical Opinion)

A Nexus letter is a detailed, evidence-based medical opinion that helps establish the connection between your current diagnosis and your military service. It is an important piece of medical evidence used by the VA when determining whether a condition is service-connected.

If, after your initial consultation and a comprehensive review of your medical and service records, I determine that a service connection can be reasonably established, you will have the option to move forward with a Nexus letter.

Here's how the process works:

Initial Consultation – We'll discuss your condition(s), military service history, and claim goals. The $100 consultation fee covers your telehealth visit and comprehensive records review.

Record Review & Determination – If the available medical evidence supports a nexus, I will discuss my findings with you and explain the next steps.

Letter Development – Once the remaining balance is received, I will begin preparing your personalized, evidence-based Nexus letter supported by your medical records, service records, and current medical literature.

Turnaround Time: Up to 4 weeks from the date full payment and all required documentation have been received.

✅ Your $100 consultation fee is applied toward the total cost of your Nexus evaluation if you choose to proceed.

💰 Pricing:

  • $650 for a Nexus evaluation addressing one (1) condition.

  • $800 for a Nexus evaluation addressing up to two (2) conditions.

  • Additional conditions may be accommodated for an additional fee, which will be discussed and quoted in advance.

📦 Expedited services are available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Rebuttal Medical Opinion

(Existing Luna Fidelis Wellness Veterans)

A Rebuttal Medical Opinion is a detailed, evidence-based independent medical opinion prepared in response to a VA denial when your original Nexus letter was completed by Luna Fidelis Wellness. Its purpose is to address medical inaccuracies, unsupported conclusions, or deficiencies identified in the VA's decision or Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination, when medically appropriate.

If, after reviewing your VA decision letter, C&P examination (if applicable), and the evidence considered by the VA, I determine that a rebuttal medical opinion is medically supported, you will have the option to move forward with a rebuttal evaluation.

Here's how the process works:

Decision Letter Review – I will carefully review your VA decision letter, C&P examination and/or medical opinion (when provided), and the evidence considered by the VA to determine whether a rebuttal is appropriate.

Medical Determination – If the available medical evidence supports a rebuttal, I will discuss my findings with you and explain the next steps.

Rebuttal Letter Development – Once approved, I will prepare your personalized, evidence-based rebuttal medical opinion addressing the medical deficiencies identified in the VA's decision.

$200 for a Rebuttal Medical Opinion following a denial of a Nexus letter originally prepared by Luna Fidelis Wellness.

This discounted rate is available exclusively to existing Luna Fidelis Wellness Nexus clients. Rebuttal medical opinions are prepared only when supported by the available medical evidence.

    • Service treatment records (if available)

    • VA decision letters

    • Diagnostic testing and imaging

    • Current medication list

    • Personal (lay) statements

    • Any private medical records relevant to your claim

  • The typical turnaround time is up to four (4) weeks from the date full payment and all required documentation have been received. Expedited services may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability.
